This dry, aromatic style exhibits passionfruit and pineapple alongside the typical fresh herbaceous notes of cut grass and gooseberry. An expressive wine, it is best served as an aperitif or with seafood dishes.
Vintage: 2013 ABV: 12.5% Bottle Size: 750ml Made from a blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Carignan grapes. The vineyards are located on low lying hills within the Bassin de Thau, a string of lakes stretching the Languedoc-Roussillon. This blend of Syrah and Carignan has lovely ripe fruit balanced by lively acidity. It has a beautiful deep, dark red colour. Aromas of blackberries, soft red plum fruits and a touch of spice are followed by supple tannins and crisp acidity. Perfect with grilled pork or chicken dishes.
Vintage: 2013 ABV: 11.5% Bottle Size: 375ml Made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. The grapes for this beautiful Icewine from the Niagra Peninsula are always picked at temperatures at least -10ºC, with the grapes frozen on the vine and hand-picked in the middle of the cold Canadian night. Once picked, the grapes are pressed immediately while still frozen. Each frozen grape yields just one drop of intensely frozen juice. The aroma renders the boldness of ripe red berries with complex notes of spice and the sweetness of rhubarb. Once sipped, the reward is that of an explosion of luscious red berries, delicate, yet complex spice and rhubarb with a lingering finish reminiscent of fresh limes. Pairs well with red fruit based desserts and dark chocolate or strong cheeses.
Vintage: NV ABV: 12% Bottle Size: 750ml Made from a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes. This classic Champagne uses the three traditional varieties and is aged for two years in the bottle in deep underground caves to develop a fine mousse and lovely, fresh aftertaste. Lovely soft honeyed fruits and delicate floral tones with a vigorous, youthful feel. Perfect as an aperitif or served with oysters or shellfish. &
